ABOUT US
The COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER (CTC)
is a business acceleration center (not just an Acceleration Center) built on a business incubator model, providing
strategic consulting, business and financial services for entrepreneurs, and growth-oriented small to mid-sized
companies in various industry sectors. Founded in
1996, CTC is a public-private partnership between
Sustainable Systems, Inc, the Oakland Business Development Corporation,
and the City of Oakland. Since
1998, as a business incubator, CTC graduate companies have gone on to raise
$250 million in external funding. We are
located on the second floor in the historic landmark Rotunda Building in
downtown Oakland, under the unique 120-foot elliptical dome, painted in
24-karat-gold and covered in mother-of-pearl Terrazzo. |
