Founded in 1996, CTC is a public-private partnership between Sustainable Systems, Inc, the Oakland Business Development Corporation, and the City of Oakland. Since 1999, CTC graduate companies have gone on to raise $220 million in external funding. A number of our graduates have been acquired or are on the path to IPO.
